Poson Sisil Pan Dansala - 2012
The Scouts of Troop No.10 organized a Sisil Pan (Cool Drinks) Dansala that was held last Poson full moon poya day, as a community services project at the Rathu Bokkuwa Junction, Ampitiya.
They were able to serve cool drinks to around 500 people who stopped by on their way to see the Poson festivities in Kandy.

SOORYA UDANAYA - 2012
The annual New Year Festival of 1st Kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group, Soorya Mangalya 2012, which was organized by the scouts of Troop no. 10, was held on 28th April 2012.
They were able to conduct the function in a grand level with the collaboration of Scout Leaders, Assistant Scout Leaders and Parents of Scouts at Lake View Park and the Hostel Grounds.
Scouts from all troops actively participated in many events, such as tug of war, Raban Geseema, Jana Gayana, Kotta pora, Keep the eye on elephant, find the coin, Musical chairs etc.

Senior Scouts Applets Awarding Ceremony of Troop No 10 of 1st Kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group
Senior Scouts Applets awarding ceremony of Troop No 10 scouts was held on 28th january 2012 at the Lake View Park International Scouts Centre.
21 former junior scouts who received their District Commissioners Award during the Scouts Parents and Old Scout Day held in last December received their Senior Scout Applets and invested as Senior Scouts.
Scout Leader of Troop No.10 Mr.Indrajith Mallawaarachchi, President of Old Rajans Scouts Association Mr. Suminda Vithanarachchi, Vice president Mr. Namal Palliyaguruge and Parents of Troop No 10 scouts were present at the event.

Representing Sri Lanka at the 18th Australian Rover moot
B.S.B Karunathilaka, Rover scout from 1st Kandy Dharmaraja scout Group will be heading to Adelaide, Australia to participate at the 18thAustralian National Rover Moot under the invitation of the Australian Scout Association commencing from the 26th December 2010 to 12th January 2011. He will be participating the event as the only Sri Lankan representative. He has won the Presidents Scout award in 2003 and the B.P award in 2006, becoming the only B.P Award winner in Sri Lanka in year 2006. He was also the team leader of the Himalayan expedition team 2007 which reached Mount Everest base camp (5360 m) and the summit of mount kalapathar (5545m) of the Himalayan range in Nepal.
